Efektivitas Kurikulum Terpadu dalam Peningkatan Prestasi Belajar Siswa di SMP al-Hikmah Surabaya

Abstract

As an education element, particularly in improving student’s achievement, curriculum should be developed in accordance with modern era and social demands. SMP Al- Hikmah Surabaya has implemented the convenient integrated curriculum. This article discusses about the effectiveness of integrated curriculum has been implemented by SMP Al- Hikmah. The indicator of effective is measured by the success of improving students’ achievement. The curriculum consists of the group subjects which the objective has been adjusted to strategy and learning objectives. Such curriculum components are the Ministry of National Education (Kemendiknas) curricu- lum, local content, self-development and typical subjects of Al-Hikmah. The implementation of this curriculum has produced output in line with the expectation that is having good morals and high achievement. The average of their score is more than 70 both general and religious lessons. There are more subjects in the curriculum, the students however, are able to learn comfortably.
